Considered some of the best centerpin float reels on the market today, the Steelheader IS Centerpin Float Reel by Islander is smooth... incredibly smooth. This is due to the precision CNC machining, bearing and balance which makes the spool so smooth that it spins absolutely effortlessly.
Highly polished, the palming rim of the Islander Steelheader centerpin float reel will provide all the drag an angler will ever need. The clicker drag can be engaged and disengaged using a frame side button.
Just like all Islander equipment, the Steelheader reels are built to last and battle the most fearsome of predators. Thick aluminum frame and spool with a large stainless steel spindle provides the Steelheader with a solid reputation.
